Biography

Anna has 15 years of experience in banking and finance. She has successfully led strategic initiatives, including the Domestic Gold Purchase Program, and has participated in the Central Bank Digital Currency pilot and green finance strategies. She has significantly contributed to corporate strategic planning, policy formulation and implementation, investment management, and research. Additionally, she has provided invaluable technical assistance to central banks across East and Southern Africa. Anna holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, and a degree in Banking from the Institute of Finance Management.
